Stephen's Family
Lily, Stephen, Amanda, Ethan & Doggy

Stephen is a disabled USMC Veteran and he has had a service dog assisting him for the last several years, so the reason for starting this business was to allow more Veterans the opportunity to get a
service dog trained for their needs at a very low rate or no cost to them.

Stephen trains other dogs to help pay for the veteran service dogs. He is also trying to train detection dogs for law enforcement so they can assist their human partners with bomb and drug search and seizure missions in areas that may not be able to afford dogs, he is hoping to donate a trained detection K9 to local law enforcement and also trains the handler to work together.

Stephen is also part of Fidelis Family Retreat, a nonprofit organization that focuses on the family as a unit.

Many organizations exist for the veteran. Fidelis serves the whole family.  Click Here for more about Fidelis Family Retreat

Stephen's Story

Stephen Mohr graduated from Serrano High School in 2002. He was working for the United States
Marine Corps from 2002-2015. He finished Midlands Tech in 2020 for Business essentials, Veterinary
Technician, and also Highland Canine Dog Trainer in 2021 for Professional dog trainer Master Dog
Trainer program and CPR & 1st Aid for dogs. His unique experience and skills are CPR & 1st Aid for
dogs, veterinary technician certificate, behavior modification, and scent detection (narcotic, human
odor, cadaver). His skills relevant to the position industry is 7 years working with his own (deaf) service
dog, 6 months at hands-on school, and 1-year assisting friends.

Stephen Mohr was United States Marine Corps from 2002 to 2015. Sergeant of Marines taught him
that leading, discipline, and time management are the main things you need to be successful. Military
Occupation Specialty Instructor for Communications requires training new Marines kind of like
puppies how to do what they are told and when they are told to do it. Equal Opportunity Officer was
being able to ensure that all Marines were treated fairly and firmly regardless of race, color, sex
(including pregnancy), national origin, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation just like you need
in dog training so that all the dogs get the same training regardless of breed, gender, aggression level
or sexual orientation. Substance Abuse Counselor was to ensure that we put checks and balances for
all Marines you need to do the same with dogs like product testing. Mentorship in the Marines was
another way to make sure that the Marines that you are helping are staying on track as well as
improving themselves in dog training you need this to make sure that the home the dog is returning
to is going to follow you commands given and if they run into a problem, they will come back to you.
Corporals Leadership Course Instructor is what was used to teach other Marines to be leaders and is
needed when training dogs for law enforcement so that they can ensure that all the training you taught
is conducted properly every time they use it.

Stephen Mohr received a Master Dog Training Certificate from Highland K9 in 2021, Veterinary
Assistant Certificate from Midlands Tech in 2020, First Aid and CPR Certifications from Highland
K9 in 2021. Stephen Mohr volunteers with local assisted living facility with a  Therapy Dog. Stephen
Mohr volunteers with Fidelis Family Retreat to  give back to his veteran community and Chapin High
School Navy JROTC to inspire the children of tomorrow. Stephen Mohr does not currently have any
